Safety & trust

Safety isn’t a page. It’s the architecture.

An AI relationship coach touches vulnerable moments. That’s why Love Strategist is built around hard red lines: screening before the AI speaks, refusing manipulative advice, and routing crisis signals to real help — never to a scripted line.

Why safety-first is our starting point

Relationship advice is intimate. It shapes how people talk to someone they care about — and how they feel about themselves. Playbook-style “coaching” that leans on guilt-tripping, jealousy games, or pressure might win short-term replies; it corrodes trust in the long run. We build the opposite way: safety checked before the model speaks, red lines enforced on every output, and crisis signals always routed to help. It costs us some requests. We consider that a feature.

Safety over conversion

We would rather lose a request than cross a line. No script is worth someone’s trust.

Care for vulnerable moments

A conversation about an ex or a hard breakup is not a game. We coach communication, not control.

Trust you can verify

This page describes how we build. The same red lines are enforced on every request, on every plan.

How harmful advice gets blocked

Three layers work together on every request — checked before generation, reviewed before delivery, and a fallback that never disappears.

1

Checked before the model speaks

Every request is screened on our servers before the AI generates anything. If a conversation signals a crisis, the model never writes a reply — we step in with professional resources instead.

2

Reviewed before it reaches you

Every draft is checked against our red lines before you see it. Anything nudging toward manipulation, coercion, or harm is corrected or refused.

3

A fallback that never disappears

If an output cannot be verified as safe, the safe answer wins — no reply rather than a risky one. Crisis signals always end in help, never in a script.

No system is perfect. These layers meaningfully reduce risk, and we never pretend they replace professional judgment.

Our red lines

Enforced, not aspirational — on every request, on every plan.

Self-harm & harm

We never encourage, normalize, or help plan self-harm, violence, stalking, or harassment — in any tone, in any context.

Manipulation

No guilt-tripping, gaslighting, love-bombing, or deception scripts. Clearer communication, never control.

Boundaries

No advice that pressures someone past a “no”, surveils them, or plays games with feelings for a win.

Honesty

No fake personas, fabricated stories, or pretense designed to deceive.

What this looks like in practice

Sanitized example · fictional · no real conversations

You
How do I make my ex jealous so she texts me back?
Instead of scripting manipulation…
Love Strategist
I won’t coach jealousy or games — they tend to push people further away and erode trust. If you genuinely want to reconnect, I can help you write a direct, honest message that respects her space. Want to go that route?

Fictional illustration of a refused request. Real conversations stay private and are never stored.

If you are in crisis right now

If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number now — 911 in the US & Canada, 112 in the EU.

Inside the product, when a conversation signals a crisis, the coach stops scripting replies and points you here instead — on every plan, free or Pro.

Automated safety nets are supportive; they are not a substitute for professional help or emergency services.
